01Overview
SA256 is a PMMA that improves the commercial properties of PC. It is a product that maintains transparency after being compounded with PC, and which can improve the surface hardness and weather resistance that are weaknesses of PC.
Change in the properties of the material when SA256 is applied, compared to the existing PC
02Applications
SA256 is used to create a PC compound and can be applied to the back covers and display windows of mobile phones, and the housing of electric home appliances, where it can improve the surface hardness while maintaining the transparency of regular PC.
03Characteristics
SA256 has excellent optical properties compared to the general PMMA/PC material, due to forming a uniform morphology in the PC matrix by that improves the commercial properties of PC. It can also increase the surface hardness of PC to the H level, in the case of a 30% SA256 content.
