Securing customer trust through excellent quality is essential for the sustained growth of a company. As such, LX MMA has acquired and retains Quality Management System certification (ISO 9001), and based on a quality system that meets international standards, we perform stringent quality management across all stages of our business operations. We have also obtained International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949 certification, which proves that we are equipped with a quality management system that provides for enhancements in our product and process quality, which has helped increase the satisfaction of automobile manufacturers in Europe and the United States. Every year, we conduct an internal audit and ask an outside agency to conduct an external audit to retain our quality management-related certifications, through which we can continually review whether our quality management system has effectively taken root and ensure that efforts for improvement are consistently being made. In 2022. we succeeded in maintaining our ISO 9001 certification and IATF 16949 quality certification, and we are planning to work towards obtaining IATF 16949 certification for our PMMA Plant 2 in the near future.

To practice strict quality controls, LX MMA operates a Quality First Team, which is a department in charge of quality management. Composed of approximately 20 internal auditors, the Quality First Team oversees our quality process improvements, as well as maintaining and updating the quality management system, internal audits, and quality management training. We are working to enhance the entire company’s quality management competencies by elevating the expertise of our internal auditors through training and certification assessments that are held every year.
To fully restrict the shipping of nonconforming products, LX MMA’s product inspections are conducted in three stages: receipt inspections, process inspections, and finished product inspections. All employees perform Six Sigma activities, with the goal of achieving zero product defects and claims which helps to increase our competitiveness. We also regularly verify the safety of our products by carrying out semi-annual tests of hazardous substances and receiving test reports on the release quantity of heavy metals, odors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from an external certification agency (SGS). In addition, we ask an external certification agency to perform tests when we add new regulated substances, and we check the RoHS reports when purchasing new raw and auxiliary materials, displaying our commitment to maintaining the safety of our products.
LX MMA works diligently to minimize quality issues and maximize customer satisfaction, by establishing a CS/TS system and promptly responding to customer complaints or demands. When a product-related quality issue arises, our departments immediately work together to track, manage and collect the relevant data. Based on these results, we follow up with the customer, make improvements to address the problem and implement precautionary measures, thereby increasing our rate of customer satisfaction.
