01Environmental Conservation Activities

Environmental Cleanup Activities

Under the belief that we exist alongside nature, we always make every effort to cultivate a rich natural environment by studying and continually practicing measures to cultivate a greener and cleaner environment.

1 Company 1 Mountain Care Campaign

As a practical measure of our love of nature, we plant camellia trees and juniper trees on the nearby Yeongchuisan Mountain every year. To ensure the right growth of these trees, we take care of the trees by weeding scrub and pruning branches, which has been providing joy to hikers on the mountain.

1 Company 1 River Care Campaign

We regularly carry out environmental campaigns such as river clean-up activities around the plant on the Day of the Environment, beach clean-up activities on the Day of the Sea, and Jungheungcheon river clean-up activities, and we actively participate in community environmental cleanup activities as a member of the LX social service group.

Ecological system conservation activities

In cooperation with government offices and other nearby companies, we actively participate in ecological system conservation activities such as the campaign to eradicate foreign fish species, wildlife protecting activities during the cold season and the feeding of migratory birds.

02Sharing Activities with the Local Community

Sisterhood Ties

In meetings held between representatives based on the sisterhood ties concluded with the villages around our plants, we share cases of environmental improvement and participate with the residents in helping rural workers, preventing epidemics in the villages and replacing catalysts, thereby enhancing the reliability of environmental management practices.

Practicing Care for our Neighbors

We donated the entire prize money from the 1998 Safety Management Grand Prize to help underfed children, and we are leading the way in creating a society where people can live together by promoting activities such as helping leukemia patients, helping our needy neighbors, and helping child breadwinners. Also, every employee takes the lead in helping the needy by providing a small amount of money that is deducted from their salary every month.

Coexistent Cooperation Program

In the belief that "the safety management level of our partner companies is the same as the safety level of LX MMA," we continue to actively remove potential risks by conducting work risk assessments, in order to create a happy workplace without disasters while taking the workers' safety and health as our top priority.
