Standards

UL

This is a U.S. safety standard certification system operated to secure the safety of consumer goods and protect the consumers. Products with this mark can be sold in the U.S. state markets, and can also enter the federal government's procurement market. For plastic resin applied as an electro-electronic exterior material, the acquisition of the UL standard is required and the selection of resin which conforms to these specifications is required in the manufacturing of the product.

JHPC

Standards of the Japan High Polymer Center of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

RoHS

The European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances restricts the use of products containing environment-unfriendly substances such as cadmium, lead, mercury, 6+Cr (hexavalent chrome), and brominated flame retardants like PBBs/PBDEs.

AMECA

These are standards for automotive parts materials published by the Automotive Manufacturer's Equipment Compliance Agency (AMECA). You can check the certified products and colors by clicking LX MMA in the Table of Contents of the PDF file.

MSDS

The purpose of the MSDS is to prevent industrial accidents or occupational diseases caused by chemicals, by providing the necessary information to workers or end-users in order for them to safely handle chemicals using the data prepared by the business owner who manufactures, imports, and handles the chemicals, based on the assessment results of their harmfulness.
The MSDS must be provided to users when selling or delivering chemicals, and the terms such as CSDS (Chemical Safety Data Sheets), ICSC (International Chemical Safety Cards), and SDS (Safety Data Sheets) may also be used.

REACH

REACH (Regulation, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is the European Union's ”new chemical management regulation” that registers, evaluates, reports, permits and restricts certain chemicals according to the quantities and risks of the chemicals.
