The LX PMMA "ID grade," an acrylic diffusion material, is an innovative material that can produce high transmittance and high diffusion properties at the same time, by using a special diffuser and an additive. It maximizes the efficiency of lighting devices as the intensity of the illumination can be adjusted without exposing the source of the LED light and preventing glare. At the same time, it satisfies all of the requirements for illumination covers including the light stability, driving temperature, weather resistance and eco-friendliness.
By using a diffuser that has a different refractive index from the PMMA matrix, this induces a change in the path of the incoming light to show diffusion characteristics, enabling the high transmittance/diffusion characteristics required by LED lighting.
